GS Catering looks to level up with new projects in the pipeline this year, following 2025 sales boost

Foodservice equipment distributor GS Catering is set to grow the business and invest in its workforce this year, according to the company’s director, Karl Jones.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026 GS Catering has several major projects in the pipeline including a new activity bar next to London’s Liverpool Street Station, scheduled to open in April.

“It’s a world first and will build on the success we enjoyed delivering some of the Puttshack projects and the F1 Arcades concepts,” said Jones.

The kitchen house is also poised to complete several more office fit-outs in London and Birmingham.

“We will also be working alongside key principal contractors on some large-scale educational projects across the UK, two of them down here in the south-west,” added Jones.

GS Catering plans to recruit a new estimator and purchaser over the next year or so too, to help drive business.

As well as expanding its team, Jones said the firm plans to invest in developing and nurturing its existing staff to continue the company’s growth trajectory.

“Their talent drives our progress, and we’re committed to giving them every opportunity to broaden their skills and shape their own development,” he said.

This will build on the progress the company made in 2025, reporting a 21.5% boost in sales compared to the previous year, securing a number of high-profile projects across various sectors, and culminating in winning Distributor of the Year at the Catering Insight awards.

Recently we undertook the total refurbishment to the catering facilities at Kellogg College Oxford. We were very impressed with the knowledge and skills that GS Catering Equipment were able to bring to the table. As Project Managers, we have been delighted to work with GS Catering on the Lower Bar refurbishment at the Town Hall. The project involved a seamless integration of new catering equipment to the front and rear bar whilst maintaining and not disrupting the historic grade I fabric of the building.
